It's completely free to enter! Join the competition today!

If you are a senior and interested in learning why so many other seniors love Wii™, then this is the event you have been waiting for.

Youths may only play if they are paired up with a senior and are competing in the 'Inter-generational' Team Competition.

Individual competition categories are: Tennis, Bowling, Golf and Boxing.

We will also have an 'Intergenerational' Team Competition. For this challenge, seniors are invited to bring a young partner (the youth must be under the age of 18), or we can team you up with one of our eager young volunteers.

Team Competition is available in Wii™ Bowling only.

Scores for each player (or team), at each Lifecare home, will be compiled daily and posted on the Virtual Scoreboard at:

http://www.ourhomeyourhomecanada.ca/wii_scoreboard.html

You may also contact your host location for a leader board update.

The scoreboard will keep track of category leaders at each home, as well as, the leaders from all 10 regions.

Players may play as often as they like to keep their place in the standings. For example, if you are first on Monday, second on Tuesday, you can visit a location nearest to you to attempt to reclaim the lead.

Trophies will be awarded to both male and female players who win first, second or third in their category, against competitors from all Lifecare homes.

Also, 1st place winners (male and female) at each Lifecare region , will win a Wii™ Senior's Olympics commemorative plaque.

Other great prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers at the awards banquet scheduled for November 2009.

The Military Families Fund was created in April 2007 by General Rick Hillier, the former Chief of Defence Staff to assist military families faced with unforeseen and often immediate needs that have resulted due to conditions of service.

In recognition of the contribution our military has made to making Canada the best country in the world, the Wii Senior's Olympics will make a donation to the fund at the awards banquet in November.
